Ad Hoc Enquiry V 1.1.x (c) 2000 Educe
RegisterAdhoc@educesoft.com
Access 97 is (c) 1989-1996 Microsoft, Inc.

NOTE:
When you first run Ad Hoc Enquiry an error message will appear titled
"Linked Tables" informing you that the data file could not be found. This is
normal and ensures that the data and front end are linked correctly. Click OK
then select the folder where you installed the application. The default is
C:\Program Files\Adhoc.

ABOUT:
The program is designed for a user to record ad hoc enquiries taken by phone,
email or post. It is an MS Access database but does work with just the run time
files (that are also available for download). The process of recording and
responding to enquiries is recorded and measured against a user set target. An
additional database (free) collates this data for all users.

INSTALLATION:
Run the set-up program and follow the on screen prompts. NT users may receive
an error message as the installation tries to install files that are already
installed. Select the ignore option (this does not install the file in
question, it does not ignore the NT warning). Once the program has been
installed, move the shortcut to your start-up folder if you want it to run
automatically each time you run windows.

UNINSTALLATION:
Run the uninstall program by selecting Add/Remove Programs from the Windows
Control Panel.

USING Timer:
Open the main window by clicking on the shortcut found on the "Start" button.
Read the User Manual or check the online help. Once the program has opened for
the first time you will see blank fields that look as though they are ready to
accept data and will allow you to enter data. Ensure that you press the new
enquiry button first before entering data as the blank fields are not an empty
record ready to be populated.
