----- Functions
This program calculates the thermodynamic properties of water and steam based
on IAPWS-IF97 formulations except for region 5 (above 800 deg-C).

This program can accept four way inputs.
(1)Temp. and Press. - for any region of water or steam
(2)Temp. or Press. - for saturated water and saturated steam
(3)Temp. and Quality or Press. and Quality - for wet steam
(4)Enthalpy and Press. - for any region of water or steam

Unit set is selectable and quickly convertible.
     SI(K) - K, MPa, KJ/kg, etc.
     SI(C) - C, MPa, KJ/kg, etc.
     Metric - C, kg/cm2a, kcal/kg, etc.
     British - F, psia, BTU/lb, etc.

You can copy any result to the clipboard and paste it to other applications
such as HP Calc or 1-2-3.

----- Installation
This archive includes following files.
    STEAM97E.TXT ..... This file
    STEAM97.EXM ..... Executable file
    STEAM97.ICN ..... Icon file

Unzip .EXM and .ICN files, and register STEAM97.EXM to the System Manager.
At the first execution, STEAM97 automatically creates a STEAM97.ENV file
in A:\_DAT directory. If you don't have a: drive, then c:\_DAT is assigned
instead.

----- How to Use
1.Enter temperature and pressure, then press [F10]. Steam/water properties
  then be displayed.
The possible range of input value is displayed by pressing [F1] key.
The unit system of input values is assumed that now on display.

2.You can select the unit sets by checking [UnitSet] menu in the menu bar.
When selecting multiple sets, you can change the unit set by [F9] key,
  at any time.
At the first execution of the program, SI(C) and Metric are selected.

3.To calculate the saturation, enter either temperature or pressure and the
other field should leave blank. In this case, the pressure or temperature
must be below the critical point.

4.To calculate wet steam, enter temperature and quality or pressure and
quality. The quality (%wetness) is identified by a suffix 'x' or 'X' at
  the other field.
  ex) Temp[180 ] Press[2.5x ] <- 180deg-C and 2.5% quality

5.To calculate properties from pressure and enthalpy, enter the enthalpy data
at Temp field. The enthalpy is identified by a suffix 'h' or 'H'.
  ex) Temp[800h ] Press[120 ] <- 800kcal/kg and 120kg/cm2a

  ** Caution **
If the entered enthalpy and pressure belongs region 3, a dialog will
appear to confirm wheter continue or cancel calculation because it will
take several minutes to finish. During the calculation, you can't switch
to another application and also you can't turn off!

6.The calculation result can be copied to the clipboard by [F2] through
[F6] keys. Even the [Shift] + [F2] through [F4] are effective when the
properties of saturated water are displayed.
