Here is a small program that computes sunrise, set, moonrise, set, twilight, etc.
It uses the same dat file (mc.dat) as moonclock, an earlier program I sent to super.net. I've included icons for win95 and the HP200.
This program is faster than moonclock and does not use a graphics mode. It should run on the HP95 as well!
I have not tested it on the HP95.

The optional command line has been simplified and made applicable to timezones east of Greenwich. It is

sm [mmddyyyy(+-)tz(+W)], e.g., "sm 02191998+06" for the midwest.

Note that 2 digits and a plus or minus sign must be used: +W/-E.

Mc.dat has more instructions. It should be set for local coordinates and time zone.
It has to be in the c:\ directory.

I've added a shortcut at the "Again?" prompt. If you have input data for a new date and now want to go back to the current date, simply enter "t" without the quotes!

To check the accuracy of this program, use the Web MICA (multiyear interactive computer almanac) at http://aa.usno.navy.mil/AA/data/docs/WebMICA_2.htm. There is also a good set of astronomical definitions at
