        OS/2 1.3, 2.x and 3.0 driver for Canon LBP-1260 PCL Laser Printer
        ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    The Canon LBP-1260 Printer Driver for OS/2 PM supports the following
    Canon printers:
    Canon LBP-1260 PCL (Europa) - LBP-1260 with PCL 5e Emulation installed
    If you are installing this driver as an upgrade for an older version,
    or if this is a completely new installation, you should first read
    the installation notes in INSTALL.TXT.
    If you received this driver in a ZIP file, or the driver disk has been
    copied using DOS instead of OS/2, you must reconstruct the driver disk
    BEFORE installing the driver. To do this, you should run the OS/2 command
    RESETEA on the driver disk (there are notes about doing this in the
    file INSTALL.TXT). If you do not do this, the driver will not install
    or run correctly on your system.
2. KNOWN APPLICATION PROBLEMS
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

DeScribe 4.0
~~~~~~~~~~~~
If the printer resolution is changed whilst within DeScribe, the metrics
used for printing text may not be correct. This is because DeScribe does
not re-fetch font metrics if the Printer Setup is changed. Note that if
a document was saved for a particular printer setup, this is the setup
used by default when printing from DeScribe.
If you wish to print a document which has been saved with one printer
resolution and print it at another resolution, the following steps may be
used:
1) Change the resolution in Printer Setup
2) Save the document
3) Exit DeScribe
4) Re-start DeScribe
The document should then print correctly.
(Other solutions to this problem may be possible).
